赛36:1 希西家王十四年，亚述王西拿基立上来攻击犹大的一切坚固城车太铉 ，将城攻取。
36:1 Now it came to pass in the fourteenth year of king Hezekiah, that Sennacherib king of Assyria came up against all the defenced cities of Judah, and took them.
赛36:2 亚述王差遣拉伯沙基率领大军，从拉吉往耶路撒冷，到希西家王那里去。他就站在上池的水沟旁，在漂布地的大路上。
36:2 And the king of Assyria sent Rabshakeh from Lachish to Jerusalem unto king Hezekiah with a great army. And he stood by the conduit of the upper pool in the highway of the fuller's field.
赛36:3 于是，希勒家的儿子家宰以利亚敬、书记舍伯那、亚萨的儿子史官约亚，出来见他。
36:3 Then came forth unto him Eliakim, Hilkiah's son, which was over the house, and Shebna the scribe, and Joah,竹下俊 Asaph's son, the recorder.
赛36:4 拉伯沙基对他们说：“你们现在去告诉希西家说，亚述大王如此说：‘你所倚靠的有什么可仗赖的呢？
36:4 And Rabshakeh said unto them宰相男妻, Say ye now to Hezekiah, Thus saith the great king, the king of Assyria, What confidence is this wherein thou trustest?
赛36:5 你说，有打仗的计谋和能力，我看不过是虚话。你现在到底倚靠谁才背叛我呢？
36:5 I say, sayest thou, (but they are but vain words) I have counsel and strength for war: now on whom dost thou trust, that thou rebellest against me?
赛36:6 瞧，你倚靠埃及这根折断的苇杆；人若靠这杆，杆就会刺透他的手东宫西略 。埃及王法老向一切倚靠他的人都是这样。
36:6 Lo, thou trustest in the staff of this broken reed, on Egypt; whereon if a man lean, it will go into his hand, and pierce it: so is Pharaoh king of Egypt to all that trust in him.
赛36:7 你若对我说：我们倚靠主我们的神。希西家岂不是将神的众高处和众坛废去，且对犹大和耶路撒冷说：你们当在这坛前敬拜？’
36:7 But if thou say to me, We trust in the LORD our God: is it not he, whose high places and whose altars Hezekiah hath taken away, and said to Judah and to Jerusalem, Ye shall worship before this altar?
赛36:8 所以现在，我求你把担保给我主亚述王，我给你二千匹马，看你这一面骑马的人够不够。
36:8 Now therefore give pledges, I pray thee画眉谷门票 , to my master the king of Assyria, and I will give thee two thousand horses, if thou be able on thy part to set riders upon them.
赛36:9 若不然，怎能叫我主臣仆中最小的军长转面退去呢？你竟倚靠埃及的战车马兵吗？
36:9 How then wilt thou turn away the face of one captain of the least of my master's servants, and put thy trust on Egypt for chariots and for horsemen?
赛36:10 现在我上来攻击毁灭这地，岂没有主的意思吗？主对我说：你上去攻击毁灭这地吧！”
36:10 And am I now come up without the LORD against this land to destroy it? the LORD said unto me, Go up against this land佐伯俊雄, and destroy it.
赛36:11 于是，以利亚敬、舍伯那、约亚对拉伯沙基说：“求你用叙利亚语向仆人说话，因为我们懂得；不要用犹大语向我们说话，达到城墙上百姓的耳中爱你卡农 。”
36:11 Then said Eliakim and Shebna and Joah unto Rabshakeh, Speak, I pray thee, unto thy servants in the Syrian language; for we understand it: and speak not to us in the Jews' language, in the ears of the people that are on the wall.
赛36:12 但是，拉伯沙基说：“我主差遣我来祖莹偷读 ，岂是单对你主和你说这些话吗？不也是对这些坐在城墙上、好同你们一起吃自己粪喝自己尿的人说吗？”
36:12 But Rabshakeh said, Hath my master sent me to thy master and to thee to speak these words? hath he not sent me to the men that sit upon the wall俾鬼捉 , that they may eat their own dung, and drink their own piss with you?
赛36:13 于是，拉伯沙基站着，用犹大语大声喊着说：“你们当听亚述大王的话。
36:13 Then Rabshakeh stood, and cried with a loud voice in the Jews' language, and said, Hear ye the words of the great king黑道死囚, the king of Assyria.
赛36:14 王如此说：‘你们不要被希西家欺哄了，因他必不能拯救你们。
36:14 Thus saith the king, Let not Hezekiah deceive you: for he shall not be able to deliver you.
赛36:15 也不要听希西家使你们倚靠主说：主定要拯救我们；这城必不交在亚述王的手中。’
36:15 Neither let Hezekiah make you trust in the LORD, saying, The LORD will surely deliver us: this city shall not be delivered into the hand of the king of Assyria.
赛36:16 不要听从希西家！因亚述王如此说：‘你们要用一个礼物与我和好，出来投降我；各人就可以吃自己的葡萄树和无花果树上的，喝自己池子里的水。
36:16 Hearken not to Hezekiah: for thus saith the king of Assyria, Make an agreement with me by a present, and come out to me: and eat ye every one of his vine鬼纶 , and every one of his fig tree, and drink ye every one the waters of his own cistern;
赛36:17 等我来领你们去到一个地方，与你们本地一样，就是有谷有酒之地，有饼有葡萄园之地。
36:17 Until I come and take you away to a land like your own land, a land of corn and wine, a land of bread and vineyards.
赛36:18 你们要谨防，恐怕希西家劝诱你们，说：主会拯救我们。列国的众神有哪一个救他的国脱离亚述王的手呢？
36:18 Beware lest Hezekiah persuade you, saying, The LORD will deliver us. Hath any of the gods of the nations delivered his land out of the hand of the king of Assyria?
赛36:19 哈马和亚珥拔的众神在哪里呢刘湘玉？西法瓦音的众神在哪里呢？他们曾救撒玛利亚脱离我的手吗？
36:19 Where are the gods of Hamath and Arphad? where are the gods of Sepharvaim? and have they delivered Samaria out of my hand?
赛36:20 这些国的一切众神中，有哪些曾救他们的国脱离我的手呢？难道主竟能救耶路撒冷脱离我的手吗？’”
36:20 Who are they among all the gods of these lands, that have delivered their land out of my hand, that the LORD should deliver Jerusalem out of my hand?
赛36:21 然而，他们静默不言，并不回答一句；因为王曾吩咐说：“不要回答他。”
36:21 But they held their peace, and answered him not a word: for the king's commandment was, saying, Answer him not.
赛36:22 于是，希勒家的儿子家宰以利亚敬、书记舍伯那、亚萨的儿子史官约亚，都撕裂衣服，来到希西家那里，将拉伯沙基的话告诉了他。
36:22 Then came Eliakim, the son of Hilkiah, that was over the household冉东升 , and Shebna the scribe, and Joah, the son of Asaph, the recorder, to Hezekiah with their clothes rent, and told him the words of Rabshakeh.
